The "Georgia Digital Citizenship Bill" refers to Senate Bill 351, the "Protecting Georgia's Children on Social Media Act of 2024".The Georgia Department of Education has partnered with Parent ProTech to help schools meet these requirements by providing resources for digital safety and citizenship lessons. 

Purpose of the Bill:

The bill aims to protect Georgia's children by promoting safe and appropriate technology use and ensuring they develop the skills to be responsible digital citizens. This includes empowering them to think critically about their online lives and engage in online activities safely and ethically.
