Welcome to Discovery Regional High School! We are excited that you have chosen to enroll with us! Registration for the 2025-2026 school year is now available.
STUDENT ENROLLMENT
Students must be high school eligible (Grade 9-12) and not currently suspended, expelled, or denied enrollment due to felony crimes from their resident/zoned school. Registration and enrollment may occur anytime during the year. All students must complete the registration application online.
Discovery Regional High School will not deny participation in its educational program to any student based on race, color, or national origin(Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964); sex (Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972 and Title II of the Vocational Education Amendments of 1976); or disability (Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990).

Types of Students
1. Program Students - Students currently enrolled in a resident school but would like to take some of their coursework through Discovery Regional High School. (Program students must receive prior approval from their resident school. Please contact your school guidance counselor.)
2. Local Educational Agency (LEA Students) – Students who are no longer enrolled in their resident school may apply to enroll with Discovery Regional High School if they meet one of the following criteria:
- Students 18 years of age or older
- Students with Medical Waivers (Grades 9-12)
- Home School student (Grades 9-12)

SOCIAL SECURITY CARD: In accordance with Georgia law, a social security number will be requested for each enrolling student at the time of the initial enrollment. Parents may choose not to provide a social security number by signing a waiver.
GA CERTIFICATE OF IMMUNIZATION (Form 3231): Georgia Law requires children attending school (Kindergarten – 12th grade) to be age-appropriately immunized with all the required vaccines at the time of first entry in school. Immunization forms from other states must be transferred to the Georgia form.
GA CERTIFICATE OF VISION, HEARING DENTAL, AND NUTRITION SCREENING (Form 3300): A student, regardless of grade level, who has never been in a Georgia public school must provide certification of eye, ear, dental and nutrition examinations on the Georgia Department of Human Resources Form 3300
ONE (1) PROOF OF RESIDENCY
Utility Bill (electric, water, gas, cable, or internet): Current utility bill or connection receipt and must be no more than 30 days old (no disconnection or pending disconnection bills), and the document must be in parent/legal guardian's name, include the address, and the company's name.
